Social media was engulfed in an eruption of outrage this afternoon, after footage emerged of a cougar pacing nervously on the roof of a bar in Bugibba.
In a video uploaded to Facebook, the blonde woman – who appears to be British and in her late 40s – can be seen chain-smoking and swearing loudly in a Cockney accent on the roof of Obese Larry’s bar.
Various concerned people on Facebook said they had informed the authorities. However, it is unlikely that any action will be taken.
The owner of the bar confirmed the woman was in the country legally and of her own free will.
He also added that she was being supplied with copious amounts of younger men, cigarettes and cocaine.
“She may appear anxious now, but she’ll be fine this evening once she’s downed a few dozen shots, sung karaoke of ‘Who The Fuck Is Alice?’ a few times, and taken a younger Maltese man home with her,” he said.
