Three years on from the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia, police investigators are still struggling to figure out why dog no bark.
While the investigation into the murder has gathered pace over the past year, with several suspects being arrested and interrogated, the question of why dog no bark remains unsolved.
“Why dog no bark is the missing piece of the jigso pazil. Figuring that out would crack this case wide open. But even with Europol’s help, we’re none the wiser,” lead investigator Keith Arnaud told Bis-Serjetà.
Arnaud thanked supporters of the Labour Party for constantly asking about dog on Facebook over the past three years.
“Sometimes we forget to work on the ‘Why dog no bark’ angle and focus on dead-ends like Electrogas instead, so being reminded about it is a big help to us,” he said.
Arnaud added that the question of why dog no bark could be answered if police knew fejn u leptop.
Unfortunately, the Caruana Galizia family won’t tell us fejn u leptop because of ħdura, so our hands are tied,” he said.
