Maltese anti-vaccination activists were celebrating this afternoon, as a shipment of turmeric powder arrived on the island.
The five tons of bright orange spice, which were ordered from India, will now be combined with hot water, ginger powder and honey, and administered by the anti-vaxxer community to its members to inoculate them against Covid-19.
“While the rest of you are getting injected with mercury, aborted foetus cells and nano-bots, we’re using alternative remedies to make ourselves immune from Covid. Not that the virus is any worse than the flu, of course,” said Gordon Cini, the president of Natural Health Community.
Cini said the doses of turmeric tea would be supplemented with essential oils and homeopathy.
“If those don’t work we’ll just whip out the crystals,” Cini said, adding that hoped all Natural Health Community members would have their chakras aligned by May.
