Local racist Clint Zahra has held a demonstration against the South African variant of Covid-19.
Zahra decided to protest after the health authorities announced the first case of the South African strain had been found in Malta.
“I don’t have a problem with variants like the British one, which came here legally. But this African one didn’t even have a passport, so we don’t know anything about it,” Zahra said at the protest in Valletta earlier today, adding the variant would simultaneously steal the jobs of existing strains, while also being too lazy to spread to more than one person.
The local racist said studies had also shown the African variant failed to assimilate with European strains of the virus and would have a devastating effect on the economy.
“Before we know it, this strain will bring over its entire family and impose its barbaric traditions on us all.”
At the time of writing, Zahra had reversed his position after finding out there were white people in South Africa.
