Rosianne Cutajar has responded to Pieter Omtzigt’s request to the European Council to investigate her behaviour by saying the Dutch rapporteur had a stupid surname.
Omtzigt accused the former parliamentary secretary of failing to declare her relationship with Yorgen Fenech when she delivered a speech to the council in 2019, in which she criticised his report on the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia and the rule of law in Malta.
Writing on her Facebook page, Cutajar said:
“How can we take someone with such a stupid surname seriously? How do you even spell it anyway? Omgtzgt? Omzgigt? Omtkzgkzkt? It looks like a cat walked across a keyboard,” she wrote.
“He thinks he’s so smart but he can’t even spell his own first name. Everyone knows ‘Peter’ doesn’t have an ‘i’ in it.”
Cutajar added that ‘Silly Name’ should mind his own business, and questioned his continued interest in Malta.
“Maybe he fancies me. But that’s too bad because I think he’s ugly, and I heard he smells of pickled herring. At the EC they call him Fishy Pieter Omtzgzigt.”
Replying to Cutajar, Omtzigt wrote:
“I should have known you wouldn’t be interested in me. After all, you’re only into guys with totally normal names, like Yorgen.”
