Prime Minister Robert Abela has been implicated in a years-long racket centered around having a rich daddy.
Abela is thought to have pocketed millions of euros thanks to the social and political advantages afforded to him by being the son of President Emeritus George Abela.
“Despite having the intellectual aptitude of a sea sponge, the Prime Minister has been able to amass a small fortune and lead the nation because he worked at Dadd’y law firm and got oodles of money from the Planning Authority,” a source close to the investigation said.
“Being the lawyer for various shady individuals over the years also hasn’t done him any harm,” he added.
The source stressed that Abela was by no means the only person to take advantage from such a racket.
“That’s life, isn’t it? The best of us toil away with little reward, and the people who were dropped on their heads when they were born at expensive private hospitals get everything given to them on a silver plate.”
A spokesperson for the Office of the Prime Minister denied the claims, but said Abela was unavailable for comment due to being on his yacht.
