A Maltese woman has demonstrated her advanced multitasking skills by complaining about the results of not one but two song contests at the same time.

With both the Malta Eurovision Song Contest and X Factor Malta airing on TVM over the weekend, and both causing controversy in different ways, it was an opportunity for 40-year-old Janice Sciberras to strut her stuff.

Taking to social media on Monday, Sciberras dazzled fellow commentators with an impressive display of moaning.

“It was incredible. To complain about two music competitions, across several pages on both Facebook and Instagram, is no mean feat. But she glided effortlessly between them all, deriding the shoddy production values of the Eurovision contest one second, and then condemning the unfairness of the X Factor result the next, before swirching back to Eurovision and calling the winning song mediocre and unmemorable. I’ve never seen anything like it before,” said one observer.

“Janice is an idol for young kids who dream of spending all their time online commenting on inconsequential nonsense,” said another.

“She’s wasted here in Malta. She should be in the big leagues, complaining about San Remo or The Great British Bake Off. She’s so good that she could probably even handle those two at the same time,” added another fellow commentator.
