Robert Abela accepts Clayton Bartolo’s apology for running over child

    Prime Minister Robert Abela has accepted Tourism Minister Clayton Bartolo’s apology for hitting a child with his car.

    The incident happened on Friday morning. Bartolo, who was driving to work, struck the 10-year-old boy while the latter was crossing at a pelican crossing in Floriana., sending him flying into the air. The child was taken to Mater Dei hospital, where he was certified as having suffered grievous injuries.
