‘I would never eat halal meat’ says local racist while enjoying kebab

Local racist Clint Zahra has expressed his disgust at the idea of halal slaughter being allowed in Malta, while enjoying a delicious lamb kebab this afternoon.

“It’s barbaric,” Zahra told Bis-Serjetà while using his teeth to rescue a strip of roasted baby sheep’s flesh that was in danger of falling out his wrap.

Zahra made his comments after the permanently grumpy Imam Mohammed El Sadi said Muslim butchers in Malta should be allowed to slaughter animals according to the religion’s traditions, which are considered cruel by many meat eaters.

“We warned you they would start imposing their sick, backwards beliefs on us all, but you leftists didn’t listen,” he continued as he reached the delicate stage where the kebab starts to lose its structural integrity.

“Man this kebab is so good today. Imagine if it was made with halal meat instead. Even the thought of it makes me physically sick,” he grimaced while licking grease and mayonnaise off his fingers.

The Imam’s suggestion has also been met with resistance from the wider animal-loving Maltese public, who keep an average of 20 kilos of chopped up cows, pigs and chickens in their freezers at all times.
