Being pro-life does not extend to the lives of black people out at sea, Alfred Grixti has confirmed.
Grixti, who is the CEO for the Foundation of Social Welfare Services, wrote on Facebook last week that NGO vessels that rescue migrants should be confiscated and scuttled. He is also vocally pro-life and devoutly Catholic.
“When I say I’m pro-life, I mean pro the life of an unborn white Maltese baby, not an adult African migrant who’s stranded in the middle of the Mediterranean. I thought that was obvious,” Grixti told Bis-Serjetà.
Asked to explain the difference, and how this corresponds with his religious beliefs, the CEO for the Foundation of Social Welfare Services said:
“Well, if you look at images of Jesus on the cross, you can clearly see he’s white as the driven snow. So if God made his only begotten son white, it stands to reason that we’re the superior race and everyone else is expendable.
“What’s more, if you put a stethoscope to the tummy of a pregnant Maltese female, you can faintly hear the unborn child humming the Maltese national anthem, whereas an African probably doesn’t even know what a national anthem is.”
To avoid further confusion, the CEO for the Foundation of Social Welfare Services explained that, in order of priority from most to least important, the hierarchy of human life went: white unborn child, white man, dog, white woman who has never had an abortion, white woman who has had an abortion, non-white unborn child, non-white man, non-white woman.
“Although the last three barely register, to be honest. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to Easter Sunday mass.”
