Professor Charmaine Gauci has urged Bolt Food to reply to an email sent to them by Karl Stennienibarra.
The Superintendent for Public Health was speaking during her daily Covid-19 briefing.
After Prof Gauci had completed her round-up of new cases, the Bis-Serjetà god-editor asked via video link whether the food delivery company should reply to an email he sent to their marketing department exactly a month ago, as well as a follow-up email sent two weeks ago.
“Yes, of course. It’s important that we carry on replying to our emails in a timely manner, especially when they’re from highly respected journalists such as yourself,” Prof Gauci replied, causing Stennienibarra to blush and say “Oh stop it you.”
The email is said to contain an offer that would be of mutual benefit to Bolt Food, Bis-Serjetà and its readers.
“As a big fan of Bis-Serjetà, I’m curious to know what this offer is. Possibly some kind of discount for BS donors? Come on Bolt Food, reply to those emails!”
