TVM journalist Brian Hansford has been caught advising far-right party Imperium Europa to set fire to the parliament building and then blame it on Communists.
Earlier this week, Hansford accidentally live-streamed himself on Facebook telling Adrian Delia supporters they needed to come out en masse in aid of the beleaguered Opposition leader. The journalist defended the video by saying he gives advice to all political parties.
He appears to have backed up his claim in yet another accidental live stream, this time giving his two cents to Imperium Europa leader Norman Lowell.
“If you want to be a proper far-right party, you need to start committing violent acts and then blame them on your opponents so you can persecute them. Like for example, set fire to parliament and then accuse the Communists of being behind it,” Hansford told Lowell, seemingly referring to the Reichstag Fire incident of 1933, which is widely believed to have been carried out by members of Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Party.
“Obviously we don’t have a proper Communist party, so maybe blame it on Moviment Graffitti,” Hansford continued.
“Yes, qed nifhem, qed nifhem. É un’ottima idea,” Lowell is heard replying.
“Then you should round up all the Jews. Again, we don’t have that many Jews, so maybe replace them with another group of people who can easily be scapegoated for a country’s problems, wink wink,” the Realtà host continued, adding that Lowell should then invade Poland.
“Or Lampedusa,” Hansford suggests.
Later, Hansford again recorded himself accidentally, this time telling new Partit Demokratiku leader Timothy Alden that the party should maybe have some sort of purpose, and yet again telling Alternattiva Demokratika to “drop the whole environment thing because no one gives a shit.”
