Zero Covid-19 cases on Robert Abela’s yacht

There are no Covid-19 cases on Robert Abela’s yacht, the government has confirmed.

The Prime Minister is currently holidaying onboard his yacht in Sicily.

“While there are 72 new cases of Covid-19 in Malta today, bringing the total number of active cases to 557, we are glad to report that Robert Abela’s yacht is totally Covid-free. This means he can carry on enjoying his much-deserved holiday abroad,” a government spokesperson told Bis-Serjetà.

Meanwhile, hotelier Tony Zahra – who yesterday was appointed as a consultant to Minister For Fuck-Ups, Julia Farrugia Portelli – advised everyone in Malta to buy their own luxury yacht to combat the pandemic.

“A luxury yacht allows you to self-isolate and maintain social distance with ease, and can be used to bypass travel restrictions. I don’t know why more people don’t own one, to be honest,” Zahra said.
