A woman from Attard who vowed she would never take the Covid-19 vaccine has changed her mind, after finding out she would be given a lollipop after getting injected.
41-year-old Sarah Caruana was, up until recently, an outspoken sceptic of the Covid-19 vaccine.
“I argued that the vaccine was developed too quickly, and that not enough information was available as to its contents. I also suspected this whole pandemic was a social control experiment,” Caruana told Bis-Serjetà.
“But then I found out that after I get injected, the nurse will give me a lollipop if I ask nicely for one, and now I can’t wait till it’s my age group’s turn to take it. They can pump me so full of nano-robots that they’re coming out my ears for all I care, especially if the lollipop is strawberry flavoured.”
After learning of Caruana’s newfound enthusiasm, the health authorities will now be launching a campaign promoting the lollipops, in the hope it will persuade more anti-vaccination activists.
“Don’t tell them I told you this, but the robots are actually in the lollipops,” said Superintendent For Public Health Professor Charmaine Gauci.
