Bolt Food courier lost somewhere in Sicily

A Bolt Food courier is currently lost somewhere in Sicily.

The courier was on his way to make a lunchtime pizza delivery from St Julian’s to Msida.

“We were following his route on the app. He went through Msida and headed to Valletta, and appears to have got on the ferry to Pozzallo,” said Michael Zahra, who made the delivery.

Two hours later, the courier arrived in Sicily, disembarked from the ferry and proceeded to take the SP45 northbound towards the town of Modica, before changing his mind and turning south-east and heading to Ispica.

“I think my pizza might arrive cold, which, to be fair, is what usually happens anyway,” a resigned Zahra said.

Reacting to the case, Bolt Food apologised for the mishap and said they would compensate Zahra with one euro off his next order.
