Nationalist Party MPs have called in renowned pest-control company Comtec to remove Adrian Delia.
The exasperated MPs resorted to asking Facebook group ‘The Salott’ for advice after they exhausted all other options to remove the forlorn party leader, with several people recommending Comtec.
According to Comtec’s website, the company is “the number one choice for businesses and home owners in Malta and Gozo in providing safe and effective control treatment to the threat of insects and rodents.”
“We’ve never been hired to remove a politician before, let alone a party leader, but the PN MPs can rest assured we’ll get the little critter out in no time,” said pest control specialist David Tabone as he and two other colleagues pulled up in their van outside the PN’s Dar Ċentrali headquarters in Pietà.
Asked what tactics they would be using to flush Delia out, Tabone said:
“I don’t think smoke or poison will work with him, and he’s also proven very resistant to backstabbing and polls. I think first we’ll try and coax him out gently by telling him it’s not worth carrying on, that he can go back to earning oodles of money as a lawyer without all the stress.
“If that doesn’t work, flame thrower.”
