Engaging in corruption and money laundering to gain anything less than €1 million is not worth it, according to former prime minister Joseph Muscat.
Muscat was commenting on the scandals involving former tourism minister Clayton Bartolo, who was sacked on Tuesday, and his wife Amanda Muscat-Bartolo.
“Now I’ve never done anything remotely corrupt myself, but if I had to, hypothetically of course, the amount of money involved would have to be worth the risk,” Muscat told Bis-Serjetà.
