The white stuff currently falling from the sky in Malta is not snow, according to a man with no friends.
Wayne Busuttil, 26, from Qrendi, has made it his duty to correct anyone who posts photos of white scenery accompanied by comments such as ‘Snow!’ ‘Borra!’ or the snowflake emoji.
“Listen, I lived in Switzerland for two years and I can tell you with absolute certainty that what you’re seeing is hail, or at most, sleet,” he commented under a post in The Salott, despite the fact that no one had asked for his opinion.
Mr Busuttil, who plans to spend his evening indoors watching Jordan Peterson videos, went on to explain the differences between hail, sleet and snow, and listed a number of atmospheric conditions that had to be present for the latter to fall.
However, he failed to list any reasons why he hadn’t been invited to a party in four years.
At the time of writing, Mr Busuttil was outside telling a group of children that what they had just made was actually a hailman and that they were idiots.
