Karl Stennienibarra becomes spokesperson for Malta Air

Karl Stennienibarra

Bis-Serjetà managing editor Karl Stennienibarra has accepted a job as spokesperson for newly created airline Malta Air.

Stennienibarra was offered the public relations role at the newly formed, Ryanair-owned airline following a rigorous selection process that lasted for two minutes, in which Stennienibarra impressed Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary with his knowledge of Irish jokes.

While he will be retaining his position at Bis-Serjetà, Stennienibarra insisted his integrity would not be compromised.

“I can assure Bis-Serjetà readers that I will continue providing them with the most timely, accurate and unbiased news on the island, while keeping my role at Air Malta, sorry, Malta Air – I really need to stop mixing those up – completely separate.

“By the way, Air Malta sucks and you should definitely fly Malta Air. I heard that Air Malta planes are held together with sellotape and their cabin crew like to spit in passengers’ tea and coffee. Fly Malta Air.”

Stennienibarra also announced he would be opening an advertising agency specialising in media advisory services.

“Where my government departments at? Hit me up y’all,” he said.
