North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has criticised the upcoming sticker album celebrating Maltese Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, calling it “a bit much”.
“It’s getting a bit embarrassing now, to be honest. And I speak as the supreme leader of a totalitarian police state,” the dictator told Bis-Serjetà.
“I mean don’t get me wrong. Having a cult of personality is great. I loved Joseph’s orchestra concert and the documentary. I’ve got them both on Blu-ray. But a sticker album, really? It’s a bit much for someone who isn’t even descended from a god, like I am.
“And who in their right mind is going to buy these stickers willingly? Is there a prison camp in Malta I don’t know about where people are sent if they don’t pay homage? Will people be forced to work on the Gozo tunnel if they don’t weep with joy when they find a shiny of him and Michelle having a cuddle?
“Anyway, I’m off to execute another of my generals with an anti-aircraft gun. I might watch the ‘Ma Tagħmlu Xejn Mal-Perit Mintoff’ video on Youtube after I’m done.
Kim also said he was looking forward to an upcoming visit to the country by a delegation from One News, who will be giving propaganda lessons to the North Korean state-run media.
