Malta has recorded its first-ever case of Geraldpox.
The news was confirmed by Superintendent for Public Health Professor Charmaine Gauci.
While Geraldpox is generally not deadly, it is highly irritating. The main symptom of the disease is the appearance of puss-filled lesions on the skin that closely resemble Gerald Fenech.
Other symptoms include asking people for five euros and teasing them with vague, unverified statements.
