A Maltese anti-vaccination campaigner has admitted she knows that vaccines don’t cause autism, but wants to bring about the eradication of the human race.
Amy Cutajar regularly posts anti-vaxxer articles and memes on Maltese Facebook groups, but says she doesn’t actually believe them herself.
“Do you think I’m an idiot? Of course the MMR vaccine doesn’t cause autism. There have been loads of studies disproving that bullshit theory. No, I just want to help cause the extinction of the human race,” Cutajar, 31, told Bis-Serjetà.
“And it’s not because I believe that people are killing the planet or some hippie shit like that,” she added.
“Basically, last year I got ghosted by this guy I had been dating, so I decided that I wanted him and everyone else on earth to die. Enabling the spread of a deadly infectious disease is a perfectly reasonable reaction to being dumped, right?
“But you can’t say that it public, so instead I peddle these ridiculous conspiracy theories about Big Pharma, New World Order and whatever, which credulous morons lap up. It’s a lot of fun, actually.”
Cutajar also said that most other anti-vaccination advocates were in it for similar reasons and did not care about the well-being of children.
“The best part is that when people question our motives we can just accuse them of making up conspiracy theories about us. It’s brilliant,” she said.
