Maltese UN soldier destroys Israeli tank after it disturbed his siesta

A Maltese UN soldier has singlehandedly destroyed an Israeli Defence Forces tank after it fired on his base in southern Lebanon and interrupted his afternoon nap.

The incident occurred on Monday afternoon at Camp Shamrock, the base of the UN peacekeeping force (UNIFIL) in the Lebanese border town of At Tiri, where seven Maltese soldiers are currently stationed. The town is now on the frontline of the war between Israel and Hezbollah.
