A man has had what he describes as a ‘weird dream’, in which Adrian Delia still refused to step down as leader of the Nationalist Party.
Nicholas Cutajar, 27, from Qawra, says he had the strange dream last night.
I stayed up late to find out the result of the confidence vote. When the news broke that Delia had lost by a considerable margin, I must’ve fallen asleep, because then he called a press conference in which insisted he was still the rightful leader of PN and would continue fighting corruption. I told you it was weird,” he said.
According to Cutajar, his dream continued with several journalists taking it in turns to ask Delia the same question about his lack of legitimacy.
“I think they were representations of my brain’s rational side wondering what the hell was going on. I’ve had some weird dreams before, like the one where no one got arrested after the Panama Papers, but this one really takes the cake. I knew I shouldn’t have eaten that piece of cheese before going to bed.”
Several other people reported having the same dream.
“It isn’t uncommon for multiple people to collectively dream about the same thing, especially when they’ve all been through a similar stressful situation, like Covid-19. If people have had this dream, I would advise them not to worry, as even though the dream feels real, nothing absurd like that could ever happen,” psychologist Christopher Zammit told Bis-Serjetà.
