A man who claims that he does not care about model Sarah Zerafa leaves a negative comment on every news article about her.
Karl Borg, 31, from Birkirkara, began commenting on articles related to the Instagram ‘influencer’ two years ago. He made his latest Facebook comment on yesterday’s Lovin Malta article about Ms Zerafa’s announcement that she had broken up with her boyfriend, in which he wrote, “Who cares?!?!”
“Two years ago I left a comment saying “Why is this news? Do you have nothing else to report?” on an article about some outrageous outfit she has worn,” Mr Borg said.
“When that got a positive response – 31 likes, 22 hahas and 5 loves to be precise – I realised just how much I love telling the internet how little I care about Sarah Zerafa or anything she does.”
Mr Borg now leaves multiple comments under every article about the model, and has gained a loyal following of fans who react to each one.
The commentator now also leaves comments on articles that have nothing to do with her.
“Yesterday I read an article about dredging works in Gozo, and it reminded me how much I don’t care about Sarah Zerafa, so I left a comment saying, “I DON’T CARE ABOUT SARAH ZERAFA.”
While Mr Borg considers the expression of his apathy as only a hobby for now, he says he is thinking of turning professional.
“I’d like to find a way to monetise my indifference towards Sarah Zerafa without alienating my long-time fans. To start with, I’ve created an Instagram page in which I pose next to my comments.
“I also think I might need to widen my portfolio to include other Maltese celebrities. Aside from Sarah, I really don’t give a shit about Ira Losco, Ben Camille and Chucky Bartolo, but haven’t explored those avenues as yet.”
Mr Borg also emphasised that he does not care about Sarah Zerafa.
