Netflix have announced a spin-off show about opposition leader Adrian Delia, after the first season of Malta’s Political Crisis drew to a close last week.
Season one of ‘Crisis’ ended on Friday with the long-awaited resignation of Joseph Muscat.
The show’s gripping political drama initially wowed both critics and viewers. However, by the time the season finale was released, the general opinion was that it had dragged on too long.
“We can confirm that the second season of Malta’s Political Crisis is already in production, with Robert Abela becoming the man protagonist of the story following Muscat’s departure,” a Netflix executive told Bis-Serjetà.
“In the meantime, fans of the show can enjoy the spin-off we’ve created about Adrian Delia, who we feel didn’t get enough attention in ‘Crisis’.
According to Netflix, Just Fuck Off Already will centre around the internal struggles of the opposition party and its beleaguered leader.
“There are a lot of unanswered questions surrounding Adrian Delia and PN that we just didn’t have the time to tackle in ‘Crisis’. Will Daphne’s allegations about Delia prove to be true? Why were Kristy Debono and Herman Schiavone sent begging to Yorgen Fenech? And will Delia ultimately just fuck off already and let Mark Anthony Sammut have a go?”
The entire first season of Just Fuck Off Already will be released on Netflix tomorrow at 9pm.
