Nationalist Party MPs who gathered at Dar Centrali yesterday walked in on Adrian Delia while he was naked, it has emerged.
Following the revelation that Delia had exchanged several Whatsapp messages with Yorgen Fenech, the majority of PN’s parliamentary group attended an impromptu meeting at the party’s headquarters in Pietà.
After Delia did not show up to the meeting, several MPs went upstairs to confront Delia in his office, where the Opposition leader is currently living.
“We opened the door and found him reclining on his sofa-bed completely naked, with a glass of red wine in hand and listening to Dido,” MP Chris Said told Bis-Serjetà.
“Without getting up, he calmly bid us good evening and asked if there was a problem. We all got flustered, said no, there was no problem, and backed out again,” said Claudio Grech.
“People will say we’re cowards, but I’d like to see them argue with someone that they’re compromised and unelectable when their underpants are strewn all over the floor and there’s a weird smell in the air,” insisted Mario de Marco.
“Judging by the noises we sometimes hear coming from his office when we’re working late, it could’ve been much worse. Whoever inherits that office after Delia is going to have to do some deep, deep cleaning,” added Claudette Buttigieg.
