The International Red Cross has reached out to Malta to ask if it needs assistance after seeing reports of portable generators being used in the country.
“Are you guys OK? It’s been a hectic news week, what with Donald Trump getting shot, so maybe we missed the news that Malta had been struck by a devastating earthquake or tsunami,” the disaster relief organisation said in a letter to the Maltese government.
