Maltese dad buys son toy BMW to teach him how to be a dickhead from a young age

A dad has bought his young son a ride-on BMW so he can teach him how to be a dickhead from an early age.

Daniel Bezzina, 40, from Zabbar, bought the miniature BMW i8 with working LED headlights as the main Christmas present for his six-year-old son Jaden.

“Even though Jaden won’t be learning to drive for another 12 years or so, I think it’s important that he starts absorbing the fundamentals of how to be a BMW-driving dickhead as soon as possible, said Mr Bezzina, who drives an old BMW M3.

Mr Bezzina said he would be showing Jaden how to overtake other children’s ride-on cars, how to enter a lane without indicating, and how to impatiently honk his horn at roundabouts.

“Tomorrow after Christmas lunch I’ll take him to a car park and teach him how to take up more than one space. You’ve got to start small,” he said.

“I’ve also put a few little bags of icing sugar in the car as stocking fillers. I won’t tell Jaden what they represent, of course, but I think he should get used to having them in there. He’ll be selling a lot of similar stuff when he grows up, after all.”
