Henry Galea: All I ever wanted was for straight right-wing men to like me

Makeup artist and Tiktoker Henry Galea has said he has finally achieved his dream of being liked by straight right-wing men.

Speaking to Bis-Serjetà after his controversial podcast appearance, during which he mocked the idea of there being more than two genders, Frendo said:

“Yes, I may have made it harder for people who are already marginalised to express themselves without fear, but now I finally have the approval of straight boys who wear wrap-around sunglasses and idolise Jordan Peterson, and that’s the only thing that’s ever mattered to me.”

“I may have achieved a level of success outside of Malta that few Maltese can dream of, but it would all be for nothing if I couldn’t use the platform I’ve built to take a massive shit on my own community so I can be liked by people who would chemically castrate me if they could,” he added.

The Tiktoker also denied claims he was simply imitating American make-up artist Jeffree Star, who recently shared similar views on gender.

“Just like my make-up art, my bigotry is completely original.”

Galea said he was struggling to cope with the backlash he has received since the clip went viral.

“I can really relate to those African slaves in the US who used to ingratiate themselves with their masters, only to be shunned by their brothers. Why on earth wouldn’t you desperately try to please those who think you’re sub-human?”
