‘It’s a good thing migrants are the only problem in Malta,’ says Muscat

It’s a good thing rioting migrants are the only thing that Maltese people have to be angry about, Prime Minister Joseph Muscat said this afternoon.

“We should thank our lucky stars that we don’t have any other problems in Malta, like corruption, sky-high rent, environmental destruction and vast swathes of public land being given to a few rich people,” Muscat said during a press conference to address last night’s riot at the Hal Far ‘tent city’.

“Can you imagine how pissed off Maltese people would be if we had those things? I’m sure they’d riot 10 times as hard as the migrants did last night. But thankfully we don’t, and they can concentrate all their rage onto a few cooped-up, disaffected black people who are the source of 100 percent of the country’s woes.”

Muscat then directed the press to look at a picture of his children playing with their dog.

“Nope, no other problems here,” he concluded.
