Valletta teen gangs to be culled

The government has announced plans to exterminate the gangs of teenagers terrorising the streets of the capital.

The gangs have become a growing problem in the city, with teens causing trouble at restaurants and picking fights with each other and with passersby.

Minister for Youth Clifton Grima said the government had decided to hire a specialised team of exterminators to deal with the issue.

“We could try to engage with the youths and gain insight into the root causes behind their anti-social behaviour – upbringing, education, growing up in an amoral hyper-capitalist society … But we realised it would be much easier just to shoot them instead,” Grima said.

“It worked on pigeons, and it’ll work on delinquents. We need to tackle the problem swiftly, before the youths start shitting on people too,” he added.
