Labour trolls to hold pro-corruption concert today

The Labour Party’s army of trolls has taken time out from spamming Facebook groups with propaganda to organise a pro-corruption protest this afternoon.

The protest, which will be held in Zejtun parish square, is a response to the anti-corruption concert that is due to take place in Valletta at 3pm today.

“We wanted to send a message that not everyone is against corruption. Some of us love corruption and wish Joseph Muscat, Keith Schembri and Konrad Mizzi had never resigned, but we aren’t given attention by the media, who are all biased against corruption,” said Troll Lieutenant Benjamin Zammit, who has several fake Facebook profiles.

“So we got some money from the Mile End war chest and put together this Kunċert Favur Il-Korruzzjoni to support politicians who only want to enrich themselves. At least the acronym isn’t KKK like Occupy Justice’s concert.”

Several Labour-supporting singers have been invited to perform, including Renato, Mary Spiteri and Mary Rose Mallia.

“All singers and bands who didn’t publicly leap to Alexandra Alden’s defence when Jason Micallef and Karl Stagno Navarra put her in her place are also welcome to play. Luckily for us, that’s most of Malta’s singers and bands,” Zammit said.

Theatre director Mario Philip Azzopardi will also be staging a play called ‘Joseph: The God’ in which Muscat, played by Davide Tucci, slays monsters who closely resemble Nationalist Party figures, while covered in glistening oil and wearing only a loin cloth.

DVDs of the Joseph Muscat documentary shown on ONE TV yesterday will also be on sale at the concert.

As the documentary was filmed before the current political crisis started in mid-November, all mentions of Keith Schembri’s name had to be dubbed over with the words ‘ ħobz biz-żejt ‘

‘Ħobz biz-żejt was essential to Labour’s electoral victories. I couldn’t have done it without ħobz biz-żejt, who is not just my closest adviser but also my friend. I love ħobz biz-żejt ” Joseph Muscat says in one part of the documentary.
